Connect Review Platforms

The Review Platforms page is where you connect the review sites you want to use inside ReviewCrusher.

These connected platforms are important because they:

  • sync review-related data to your dashboard
  • help you manage reviews
  • are used for sending review requests from the Get More Reviews section

From the screenshots, this page supports selecting an industry, choosing a review platform, and adding a profile link.

Where to find it

Open the left sidebar and go to:

Review Platforms

What you can do on this page

From this screen, you can:

  • choose an industry
  • choose a review platform
  • connect a review profile
  • include the connection for Get More Reviews
  • view existing review platform connections
  • disconnect an existing platform connection

Review Platforms page layout

The page has 2 main sections:

  1. Integrate Your Accounts
  2. Existing Review Platforms

Integrate Your Accounts

The first section is titled:

Integrate Your Accounts

The page explains that integrated accounts sync data to your dashboard, help you manage reviews directly, and are also used for sending review requests in the Get More Reviews tab.

This is the section where you add a new platform connection.

Step 1: Select an industry

Use the Select Industry dropdown to choose the type of business category that best fits your business.

The screenshots show examples such as:

  • All Industries
  • Automotive
  • B2B SaaS & Services
  • Education & Training
  • Finance & Insurance
  • General & Social / Complaints

Choose the industry that best matches your business before selecting the platform.

This helps organize the platform selection process.

Step 2: Select a platform

Use the Select Platform dropdown to choose the review platform you want to connect.

The screenshots show examples such as:

  • 1-800-Dentist
  • 99acres (IN)
  • AA (UK)
  • Accor Reviews
  • AdvocateKhoj (IN)
  • AgencySpotter

The platform field appears to support searching or selecting from a large list.

Choose the platform that matches the review site where your customers leave reviews.

Step 3: Add your review profile

After selecting the platform, use the URL field to enter your review profile link.

The field placeholder shown in the screenshot is:

Enter the URL of your profile

Then click:

Add

to create the connection.

Important: how profile connection works

Based on your note and the current behavior:

Google Business Profile / Google My Business

At this time, Google Business Profile is the only platform that requires authentication to log in and retrieve the review link automatically.

This means the system can connect the Google review profile through authentication rather than relying only on manual URL entry.

Other platforms

For all other platforms, the user must:

  • copy the review link URL manually
  • paste it into the URL field provided
  • click Add

So unless the platform is Google Business Profile, the connection process is manual.

Included in connection

Under the platform selection area, the screenshots show a checkbox section with text like:

Included in your 1-800-Dentist connection is

  • Get More Reviews

This means the connected platform can be included for use inside the Get More Reviews feature.

If the checkbox is enabled, that platform connection will be available for review request workflows.

Existing Review Platforms

The second section is titled:

Existing Review Platforms

This section shows the review platforms you have already connected.

In the screenshot, the example shown is:

  • Google Business Profile
  • followed by a review URL field
  • and a three-dot menu on the right

This lets you view and manage your current platform connections.

What is shown in an existing platform row

From the screenshots, each existing platform row can show:

  • platform icon
  • platform name
  • connected review profile URL
  • action menu

This gives you a quick way to confirm that the correct platform and review link are already connected.

Manage an existing platform

Each connected platform row includes a three-dot menu on the right.

When opened, the screenshot shows this option:

  • Disconnect

Disconnect

Use Disconnect if you want to remove the existing platform connection.

This is useful if:

  • the wrong review profile was connected
  • you want to replace the existing connection
  • you no longer want that platform linked to the account

Be careful before disconnecting a platform that is actively being used in review workflows.

How to connect a review platform

A practical workflow based on the screenshots is:

  1. open Review Platforms
  2. go to Integrate Your Accounts
  3. choose an item from Select Industry
  4. choose an item from Select Platform
  5. connect the profile:
    • for Google Business Profile, authenticate if required so the review link can be retrieved automatically
    • for other platforms, copy and paste the review link URL into the field
  6. make sure Get More Reviews is included if needed
  7. click Add
  8. confirm the platform appears under Existing Review Platforms

How to manage an existing connection

To manage an already connected platform:

  1. go to Existing Review Platforms
  2. find the platform row
  3. click the three-dot menu
  4. choose Disconnect if you want to remove it

Best practices

  • choose the correct industry before selecting a platform
  • double-check that the selected platform matches the actual review site you want to use
  • for non-Google platforms, make sure you paste the exact review profile URL
  • confirm the connected URL looks correct in Existing Review Platforms
  • leave Get More Reviews enabled if you want to use that platform in review request flows
  • be cautious when disconnecting a platform already being used in campaigns or workflows

Troubleshooting

I cannot get the review link automatically

At this time, only Google Business Profile / Google My Business supports authentication-based automatic review link retrieval.

For other platforms, copy and paste the review link manually into the URL field.

I selected a non-Google platform

That is expected. For non-Google platforms, enter the profile URL yourself and click Add.

I connected the wrong review profile

Find it under Existing Review Platforms, open the three-dot menu, and choose Disconnect. Then add the correct one.

I do not see my platform in the list right away

Use the Select Platform dropdown and scroll or search through the available platform list.

I want this platform available in review requests

Make sure Get More Reviews is included in the connection.

What this feature is for

The Review Platforms section is for setting up the destinations that ReviewCrusher uses for:

  • review management
  • dashboard syncing
  • review request workflows

This is where you define which review platform profiles are connected to your account.
